can i set the watched folder, to a remote location?
ex. on my xbmc setup, have sabnzbd+ running, download an nzb to my laptop, and have the watched folder be "watched folder" on my desktop, would it work it i put in:
http://199.168.1.113:8080/Desktop/Watched Folder ?

Not it seems with 0.4.12 under win7. I tried it and also mapped the watched folder to a drive but still no good.
You could alway's try it. Could be quicker than waiting for an answer ;)

I haven't actually tested it myself.
There's no specific reason why it wouldn't work.
However, Windows 7 (and Vista) do all sorts of funny things with
profile-bound locations (like Desktop).
Not sure if these are properly shareable.

Moved the folder to the public area, mapped it on my SAB machine as Z: but still wont work.
It might work on other machines/OS's but not, it would seem, Win7ERROR [sabnzbd.misc] Cannot create directory Z:\

hey thanks for the response, i'll have to give it a shot when i get home, im running osx btw, and ubuntu (xbmc live) on the htpc

An easy alternative is to use Dropbox to sync the nzb over to the machine that's running sabnzbd.
