Simple Movie Script

Post by daniel_owen_uk »

Ok this has probably been created before (seems so simple).

I have mediarover doing all my TV, puts it into my "TV" Folder, where my movie Jukebox scans and shows up the fancy covers etc on my Popcornhours for HD viewing (very nice).

My Movies are not so simple, what I want is to be able to move the movie to my "Movies" Folder, where it should be names the name of the movie, plus the year.

Is there anything out there that can do this?

Could this be done somehow in the Sorting section?

If you are using 0.5 then yes, that is the point of general sorting. Just add the movie category to it. And use categories to move it to the correct folder.

Legendary :)

I remember SAB way back in 2.0 it's come a huge way since then, you guys have continued the work that TDIAN (IIRC) was doing and the quality is still as good as ever.

Well done :)

I actually have the same problem, but:

doesn't general sorting also only allow folders under the complete folder hierarchy?

I would need to move TV series and Movies from .../complete/Movies to ./somewhere/video/Movies

Also is it possible only to move the movie file itself and skip additional files like nzbs, nfos...etc.?

Take a close look at the settings and see that it's all possible.. The folders and switches "tabs" are your friend.

Hi and thanks for your reply,

I am not sure though if you just misunderstood my question or if I am missing something here.

My questions refined:

The categories are responsible for different handling of files and sorting them to a corresponding folder in the "complete" folder structure (lets call this folder /complete/)

If I download something that corresponds to the TV category AND have TV sorting enabled my episodes get sorted into

/complete/TV/[Show]/[Season]/[Episode]

In TV Sorting I can change this to any other sorting scheme BUT it resides inside the /complete/ folder...

That's not what I want though...all shows should be moved to /video/TV (an example)

It's possible now to set my "complete" folder to /video/ and then sort from there BUT I only want the avi/mkv/etc files and nothing else - which often is inside the nzbs...like nfos/nzbs/etc
