I've been using Sabnzbd for a while and it fits my needs perfectly.
Does anyone know of a similar client for bittorrent? Something that runs as a daemon, is accessible from the web and will monitor a folder for new torrent files are the major things I am looking for.
Thanks!
Love SabNZBD! Is there a similar bittorrent client?

uTorrent has Web-UI as an add-on and (with some effort) can run as a service.

It's been a very long time since I've used it, but Torrentflux-b4rt used to do a pretty good job for me back when I was still using torrents.

If you are on linux :
Rtorrent with rutorrent as webui .. it's the best
rtorrent : http://libtorrent.rakshasa.no/
rutorrent : http://code.google.com/p/rutorrent/
Some screens
http://rutorrent.googlecode.com/svn/wik ... r1_big.jpg
http://rutorrent.googlecode.com/svn/wik ... r3_big.jpg
I run this on my server (together with sabnzbd+) and it rocks !!

Re: Love SabNZBD! Is there a similar bittorrent client?
- deluge (win, linux, bsd, macosx)
the one most in the "spirit" (so to speak) of sabnzbd+
- transmission (macosx, linux, bsd, some hw devices)
an alternative worth looking at.
- utorrent (win, macosx)
impressive webui (brilliant ajax coding), though is is not a "strict" daemon (utorrent is running as a regular win app: can be (auto)minimized, sitting just as a tray icon, but it is not as "invisible" as a daemon, though, it is pretty the same for most users). webui started as an addon, it is now a full (standard) part of utorrent (ie. packaged with default utorrent install).
- rtorrent & rutorrent (linux, bsd)
rutorrent webui is mostly a duplicate of utorrent webui.
all of them are outstanding bittorrent clients: there is no wrong choice here.
hope this helps.
ps: as a side note, for a "complete" sabnzbd+ experience, i would advise for you to have a look at firefox (but also chrome or opera) addons: search for sabnzbd, and you'll find addons capable (among other things) to catch .nzb files you download and silently add them to the queue of a remote sabnzbd+ (no extra clic required...).
