Check your server settings and if needed the content of the sabnzbd.ini file.

Re: not working
It could be a corrupt queue.
The blunt way of handling this is to start up once with the --clean option.
This will erase your complete queue and your history.
The alternative is to:
- Remove all jobs in the queue manually
- Remove all files in the cache folder that do not end in ".sab".

Re: not working
I have been having the same problem. Today sabnzbd is not downloading at all. I have restarted sab, stopped it an started it with the --clean option, and rebooted my PC. It still sits there with 0 connections, not downloading anything. In the past, I have had problems where a bunch of nzb's will be queued up for fetching, but will just sit there until I restart sabnzbd, at which point everything would start flowing again.
I'm running sabnzbd 0.5.0~rc6-0ubuntu1~jcfp1~jaunty from the ppa respository on ubuntu 9.04 server.

Re: not working
Have you looked at the log file?
Try setting logging to debug level, restart and look the logfile.

Re: not working
It looks like it's just connecting and disconnecting repeatedly without doing anything:
What I ended up doing for the moment was to disable my unlimited.newshosting.com server in the server config, and uncheck backup server on my news.ams.newshosting.com server. Once I did that, it started downloading again.
Which brings to mind, what is the purpose of a backup server?

Re: not working
It's used when your primary server is cheap but has a short retention time.
The backup is usually an expensive (pay-per-GB) server that has a longer retention time.
SABnzbd will first try the primary server and only when an article is missing will it try the backup server.
