This would be a useful feature I would also like. I suggest implementing it for local access only, and supporting the major OS's (eg Linux/Mac/Win). On windows it's a simple as system("start "+download_dir_path); I assume it's also easy on mac, not sure about Linux (due to the many desktop environments and file managers, not sure if there's a central API for them to call).

SABnzbd is a web interface, what happen's if you are using it from outside (not on your local computer) ?
This feature has already requested many times, it's just not compatible with all web interface usages.
