Sab freezing overnight - leaving unresolved items in queue...

Hi, I have been having a new problem with Sab+ : overnight it appears to freeze when passed items from RSS - these items never get resolved, and it will only continue to download and resolve names when restarted.

The log indicates multiple entries like this :

Is this with nzbmatrix.com ?
If so, try 0.5.1RC2.
Otherwise I would need more details.

I use RSS feeds from :
mytvnzbrss.com and newzbin.com

I have just seen the update and will give it a try. Thanks for the quick response.

I have never been able to get anything but an empty feed from  mytvnzbrss.com.
Does this site work at all?

newzbin.com should work without any problems.

I'm getting the same problem.  I'm running Ubuntu Koala.  The problem started over the weekend.  I'm currently running 0.5.1RC2.  What information would be helpful for troubleshooting?  Beware that I'm not terribly savvy with Python.

Interestingly, the update in synaptic is timestamped as such:

Timestamps coincide rather well.

Interestingly, I have another box running 0.5.1RC2 on Ubuntu 8.10, and it doesn't have the issues.  I'm using the same RSS service there as well, just with a different set of automated downloads.

I *think* I just resolved the problem by nuking the history and the cache.  I noticed in another thread that you stop retrying a URL grab if an earlier grab failed to avoid triggering something on tvnzb.  Is it possible that the no-retry flag that you're setting is acting on all grabs instead of just the one that failed?

Interesting.  It's done it again.  Same symptoms.  I resolved it this time by stopping the server, deleting rss_data.sab and then restarting the server.  If this happens again, I would be happy to provide the file.  My apologies for not thinking to save a copy.

Please supply the right log file: sabnzbd.log
and email it to bugs at sabnzbd.org (referring to this thread).
CherryPy.log is useless.
