I used the iphone skin as the secondary web interface. When selecting History or any settings in Config, I get a 500 Internal Server Error. Very easy to repro.

iPhone is not in the distribution.
You probably installed 0.5.0 over the old 0.4.12 installation.
This will leave a non-working iPhone skin behind.

I have the same problem. Thing is, that I can not get into the config anymore to change it back...
How do I restore the old skin?

Yes, it's called sabnzbd.ini, a text file, look for
web_dir = iPhone
and change it to
web_dir = smpl
