Hello,
I just wanted to suggest a new feature. The only feature sabnzb is missing to be perfect usenet tool is a basic usenet browser.
I am thinking of the ability to search for specific usenet groups, browsing and filtering posts.
Somehow I guess this feature request was already mentioned... but I did not find it.
It would be nice, if you could consider about implementing such a feature.
Regards, Quorr
Browse Usenet Groups
Re: Browse Usenet Groups
There are plenty of excellent Usenet browsers.
SABnzbd has one purpose only: automate downloading and post-processing of binary posts.
It's not a regular newsreader and it will never become one.

Thank you for your answer.
Perhaps you can mention me a binary focused usenet browser for linux? I've been searching for a while... The only one I found was pan.

Trying to deal with headers on modern news servers has become an intractable problem, due to the absolutely immense amount of headers available these days. Most traditional clients simply aren't made to work with 600+ days of headers.
