I am sorry for another question about renaming

Post by yarzy »

Guys, thanks for helping a newbie out, but I still have a question on renaming.  I am getting my TV shows renamed correctly (I think), but I want to have he show added to the TV show folder.  For example, if I have main folder called Z:\TV.  Within that folder, I have many folders with names of the TV show.  For example, Z:\TV\Sesame Street.  Now, if I download a TV show, it will create a folder, names with the correct info, but it sticks it in Z:\TV, not Z:\TV\Sesame Street.  Is there a way to get it to go in the correct folder?  At this point, I am moving them manually.  Do I need to use a 3rd party tool?

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

I just have the enable sorting and renaming of episodes checked off.  Should I pick something from the defaults under the sort string?

I use this:

Code: Select all

%sn\%sn.S%0sE%0e.%ext
And provides this as the example:

Code: Select all

Example: E:\New Folder\Show Name\Show Name.S01E05.avi
