Hi all, really great app thanks
I have a problem though, I'm trying to configure Sabnzbd to accept remote access, so I configured a port (8082) for it and the host address to 0.0.0.0
With this configuration I can access it from my own internal network with no problem, but if I use my internet address instead the request times out...
Now I opened the port correctly because if I use http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to check port 8082, it says success.
Finally I allowed the SABnzbd.exe thru the windows firewall, I'm not sure if I done it correctly but it seems to be ok.
I hope someone can help me,
by the way I'm using Windows 7 64 bit with sabnzbd 0.5.2

Re: Can't remotely access
Did you tell your software firewall that SABnzbd can communicate with
"the Internet" instead of just your local area network?
At least the Windows Firewall makes this distinction.

Re: Can't remotely access

Re: Can't remotely access
Could anyone help please?
Re: Can't remotely access
Have you forwarded port 8082 on your router to your PC?
Are you trying to access remotely from inside your internal network? If so then that wont work. Well it doesn't for me.

Re: Can't remotely access
yes I forwarded the ports and yes I'm trying to access external from inside my network, I'll try at my parents home see if it works...
www.canyouseeme.org says port are opened

Re: Can't remotely access
I think that's your problem right there. AFAIK, you can't 'loop back' to your internal network, going outside then back in.leodido wrote: and yes I'm trying to access external from inside my network
Accessing from your parent's or other outside network will probably work.

Re: Can't remotely access
Yes, you were right I tried it from my parents' home and it worked fine. I always though it possible to use external address from within the network, oh well thanks for your help
