How to change unrar.exe extract directory

Post by pjakesson »

Hello all,

I've searched the forums but didn't find any solution.

My problem is that I have a rather small C: partition on my WHS, only 10GByte free.
So for large downloads unrar fails due to lack of disk space when unrar is extracting to
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp

I wonder if I can change the extracting directory for unrar in Sabnzbd 0.5.0 ?

thanks in advance

Just put all working folders on d:.
Personally I use WHS too and I start it like this:
SABnzbd.exe -f d:\usenet

This will put the sabnzbd.ini file in d:\usenet and place all working folders inside d:\usenet.
d:\usenet\cache d:\usenet\admin d:\usenet\logs d:\usenet\incomplete
Through the Web-UI, you can set the "complete" folder and optionally category folders.
Make sure that you use \\server\share notation for all "complete" and category folders, otherwise
the files won't be visible for the other PCs.
You should use a \\server\share for the Watched Folder too.
