Does anyone have an idea about this? I'm a little paranoid with the lack of news but new reports now coming up.
Basically, I'm wondering if it's safe to venture back into the waters, or if it's best to seek out other shores.
Anyone else notice the "Delisting" link I'm pretty sure that's new too.
As much as I miss Newzbin, part of me just wishes they would just close the site and release their source code as the site currently creeps me out a bit.
Why are there new reports on Newzbin?

Re: Why are there new reports on Newzbin?
Some reports are back. Not everything. Their search results are heavily filtered now, in compliance with the loss of their lawsuit, and I think we can only expect the filtering to get worse. The only thing Newzbin is really good for these days is condensed/raw mode. Plus there's the unfounded tinfoil-hat-ish "OMG WHAT IF IT'S AN MPA HONEYPOT!" stuff.
Really, at this point, if you want reports, use nzbs.org or nzbmatrix. If you want raw search, consider newzbin. I wouldn't bother with newzbin's reports right now whatsoever because now that they're filtered, you can't tell the difference between:
1) Filtered by Newzbin
2) Out of Newzbin's Retention
3) Not actually on Usenet
If you can't tell the difference anymore, there's a good chance that you're going to have to re-run your search at another search engine to make sure you got all the results. So if that's a significant possibility, why not just run your search elsewhere in the first place?

Newzbin has closed for good with mounting debts. It is no more!
