Re: Schedule not working
Manual pauses ARE influenced by scheduled resumes, I have no problems pausing and allowing the scheduler to unpause my queue.

Re: Schedule not working
shypike says otherwise and my experience says so as well. I can say, with 100% certainty that my schedule gets all messed up the second I manual pause.
You sure?

Re: Schedule not working
Maybe I was confused.
There are substantial differences between release 0.4.6 and the coming 0.5.0 release.
I must check the exact behavior of both versions.

Re: Schedule not working
Heh, fair enough guys.
Regardless it would be nice if there was an option to simply "always obey schedule" or something to that effect. The schedule is only about 50% useful the way it stands right now.
Cheers!

Re: Schedule not working
Hey guys,
I think I can elaborate on my problem a little better...
It looks as though the time SABnzbd thinks it is, is very different than the actual time. The schedule seems to work like it should but the times is activates/de-activate is wayyyyy wrong.
Have you guys ever seen this? My computer clock is set properly. It's a Windows Server 2003 (Windows Home Server) running 0.4.7.

Have you guys ever seen this? My computer clock is set properly.
I have recently installed SABnzbd Ver 0.5.2 and am having trouble getting the scheduler to start at the correct time.
I can't seem to find any information on what time zone the scheduler uses.
I set it to resume daily at 2:00am and I noticed that it was already running at 1:00am.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can set the actual time to match my system clock or time zone?
Version: 0.5.2
OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit
Install-type: Windows Installer (SABnzbd-0.5.2-win32-setup)
Skin (if applicable): Default
Firewall Software: Windows 7
Are you using IPV6? most likely no, but I am not sure what this is.
Is the issue reproducible? yes
Thanks very much for any help you can give.

Re: Schedule not working
The scheduler just uses the current time of the system (including any timezone and
DST corrections the OS may have applied).
It uses a 24 hour clock, no AM/PM notation.
Runs great on any Win7-64bit system the team uses.
Did you define an environment variable called TZ?

Re: Schedule not working
Thanks for the reply.
The only thing I have changed, after the wizard ran at setup, was to set up the scheduler and change where the files are stored.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can use to check the actual time that the program is using?
I don't think so.shypike wrote: Did you define an environment variable called TZ?

Re: Schedule not working
Check the log files (c:\Users\user\AppData\Local\sabnzbd\logs)
See if the times make sense there.
Stop SABnzbd, remove the log files, start SABnzbd.
The time in the first line of the log should be the correct time.

Re: Schedule not working
Thanks, I followed the steps below and it is showing the correct time.
I set it to start a few minutes ago and it started at the correct time.
I'll monitor it tonight and hopefully it is all fixed. Maybe the restart fixed it.
Should I restart the application when ever I change the schedule?

No. But then again I've never seen the scheduler gone haywire either.trevormullins wrote: Should I restart the application when ever I change the schedule?

Re: Schedule not working
The schedule started at the correct time according to the log file (and it is running now) so all appears to be fixed.
Thanks for you help shypike, I appreciate it.

Re: Schedule not working
Thanks for that workaround, Markus!
Been wondering how to resume without having to stay up until 2am every day
However, I'd prefer a proper solution where I can just turn on program to resume a manually paused file or a way to add an NZB without it starting automatically...e.g. add a file to the 'scheduled queue'..that would be awesome!
