Hi
I'm having a problem connecting to giganews/astraweb suddenly. It'll just sit on idle and say "Resolving Address" on the connections page.
I can connect to both these servers on the same computers, and on another computer so there's definitely something up with sab.
Any ideas?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

The combination "suddenly" and "there's definitely something up with sab" doesn't make sense.
SABnzbd doesn't suddenly resolve addresses differently.
There may be a bug in it, but it must have been triggered by a change in
your chain of systems. ISP, DNS servers, router, PC.
Without more info, what can I tell?

I have the same problem after changing my router (Asus RT-AC68U)
When I run SABnzbd+ 0.5.3 on my QNAP server, I get the message; Resolving address
And the Download is Queued, but nothing happens
With the old Router, there was no problem.
When I install SABnzbd 2.3.9 on my PC, and I use the same server settings, everything works OK
I want SABnzbd working on my QNAP again.
When I run SABnzbd+ 0.5.3 on my QNAP server, I get the message; Resolving address

0.5.3??? That's so old it's beyond ancient..
Please try to get a newer version. Check the QNAP updater: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/install-nas

I have fixed it without updating.
The primary DNS server adress in my QNAP was wrong.
When I have to update SABnazd, I will also have to update the Firmware for the QNAP.
I have downloaded the new firmware, but it suggests a Backup before the update.
I don't have enough time for now, so I will try to do that when I have the time.
For now, everything works again with SABnzbd + 0.5.3
