SABnzbd+ 0.5.2 (and 0.5.0) menu bar (in OS X) pause not working

I have noticed that ever since 0.5.0 came out (and continuing into 0.5.2), pausing from the menu bar does not actually pause, even though the icon shows it as being paused.

I am running OS X 10.6.3 using 0.5.2 using the .app install method. I have even gone so far as to completely remove SABnzbd+ from my computer (App, plists, etc.), restart, and then reinstall and still have this problem.

This issue is easily reproducible.

It would be really nice if this was fixed as the only way I can really pause the whole App is to quit it completely.

If you have ANY questions, please do not for a moment heistate to ask me as I am willing to do some testing to help narrow this down.

Not correct. From the web interface, there is a pause button. I have seen and used it with several skins. Using .52, I was able to successfully pause the queue using the interface button. I haven't tested the menu bar pause, though.

Actually, this behavior happens when pausing from the web interface as well. SOrry, I forgot to mention that before. Quitting really is the only way for me to not have it download.

I'm having the same behaviour on windows version, pausing through web interface, shows it as being paused but it's still downloading. I limit download speed to 1k to simulate a pause.

Which skin do you use?

I use the "Classic - classic" skin.

When I click pause, the bottom status bar shows it as paused like this

Download Dir: XXX.15 GB - Complete Dir: XXX GB - Download speed: 60.39 KB/s - Queued: XXX GB / XXX GB - PAUSED

And the menu bar changes to "Resume" but as you can see, it's still downloading

Just changed skin to "Plush", pauses ok in that one.

Ok a little update, changed to "Classic - blue", stiill same problem. However I have just noticed when I pause, it does seem to initially pause, then immediatley unpauses (i.e download speed sticks on 0k/s for a moment then goes back up).

Which browser do you use?
When developing SABnzbd, I use Classic all the time, the pause never fails for me.
(Windows + Firefox).
BTW: Plush is the recommended skin.

I've tried it in chrome, firefox + ie, it's definitley not browser related

Actually plush isn't pausing properly either, it's something to do with the pause duration setting I suspect.

I'll try latest 0.53 RC to see if it fixes it.

OK now running 0.5.3 and still can't pause, tried plush + classic skins, makes no difference. IT seems to pause, then for whatever reason restarts itself without clicking unpause, no matter what browser I use.

This is the same behavior I experience. It pauses initially, but then starts back up. Also doesn't matter what browser I use (Safari, Firefox, Chrome). Since it seems to be an OS X/Windows, Safari/Firefox/Chrome/IE, Plush/Classic issue, it sounds like it may be something deeper in SABnzbd+?
