Not sure what I am doing wrong but I cannot open the UI. I downloaded the latest windows build and filled in the config but can't seem to find a way to run the actual app....

Why do you fill in the config? You should do that in the app, it's easier. It should autostart the browser.

For some reason it doesn't, I ran couchpotato.exe which then created a cache folder, logs folder, config file and data file but nothing else. Also tried entering localhost:5000 into my browser (chrome btw) and nothing....

Dont see it under applications or processes no, and I have clicked it a couple of times already.

This is what I am getting, I notice in the task manager that the processes start for a couple of seconds and then stop again...

Firewall, virusscanner? I don't know, seems fine, but shuts down immediately.

Tried totally disabling firewall and virus scanner and still no love...

Looks like CouchPotato is not meant for me.

The userscript that is supposed to be able to add movies to the CP database when i visit a link on IMDB is giving me some problems however.

Hi,

A couple of issues with renaming I thought I'd report. First one is possibly not supported and needs to be a feature request?

Item 1:

I want to move movies to \\N5200\Public\Our Movies\HD Movies, and not have a folder per movie.

So in configuration I set
Movie Destination = \\N5200\Public\Our Movies\HD Movies
and set folder naming blank
This results in movies not being moved at all.

I tried
Movie Destination = \\N5200\Public\Our Movies
and set folder naming to HD Movies
This also didn't work.


Item 2:

I downloaded a movie that also contained a number of 'extra's'. About 11 mkv files in total.
Couchpotato moved all of the mkv files, naming them "movie cd1 thru cd11".
That's fair enough. It can't tell which is the main movie.

As it was moving file cd9 (the actual movie) I started renaming the files on the destination back to their original names.
When I got to the movie I couldn't rename it as the move was still in progress.
After it finished moving the cd9 file, before it started renaming and moving the cd10 file it found all the files on the destination that I had renamed back to their original titles and deleted them!
I wouldn't have thought that anything should ever be deleted from the destination.
