Including the report id in the nzb name is a good idea, so that we can refer back to the report and identify which one it is when there are more than one with the same report title (which happens a LOT, as I'm sure you know )
Unfortunately the current name of "msgid_XXXX Report Name" has the side effect of meaning that you can no longer sort the nzb directory by report name. This is a useful thing to be able to do as when you have many nzbs with names like "AReport 1" "AReport 2 "A Report3" and "BReport 1" "BReport 2" "BReport 3" (I will leave to the readers imagination to think of likely examples of such a pattern) sorting by name both divides the reports of AReport and BReport into their separate groups and sorts them by the number, making it very easy to find the one you want and spot if one is missing from the sequence. If you could change the generated name to "Report Name msgid_XXXX" then that would mean that you could still sort by Report Name and have the ID available to refer to in needed.

Re: naming of nzbs fetched from newzbin
"msgid_XXXXX_Report name" is created by SABnzbd itself.
No use blaming newzbin.
This will be corrected/improved in a later release. Problem is, quite some internal code
depends on this naming convention. I haven't had the time to fix this, also
because it's not a very urgent problem (in my eyes at least).

If Newzbin could create "Reportname_msgidXXXXX" problem would be solved.shypike wrote: "msgid_XXXXX_Report name" is created by SABnzbd itself.

Newzbin already has the option to strip or prefix msgid in preferences.
Newzbin just need a 3rd option to suffix msgid.
So yeah I still blame newzbin :-)
