This might be better on the XBMC forum, but figured I'd start here. What I'd like is a program that allows similar features compared to Netflix and Pandora's rating and recommendation systems. Are there any standalone applications (preferably for GNU/Linux) that do something along these lines? I've looked for XBMC plug-ins, and browsed the Ubuntu repositories, but there seems to be a distinct lack of a program or plug-in along these lines.
If I'm mistaken and someone can nudge me in the right direction I'd be appreciative, or maybe there really just is nothing like this out there either for technical reasons, or just lack of demand (maybe I'm just weird).
Cheers :),

Re: Wanted: Rating/Recommendation Program
Pandora and Netflix have ratings systems, but they do not speak to each other.
Sabnzbd is a downloader and can download any type of media, including software. It sounds like what you are attempting to articulate would be solved by a ratings system in the indexing website of choice.
On Nzbmatrix you can view a list of top releases for a given category (movies, tv, etc). On nzbs.org you can sort by the # of downloads for a given time frame.
