I just moved to Boston about 2 weeks ago, and went from Verizon FIOS to Comcast as my ISP
I just had time to unpack and setup my Windows 7 desktop box tonight and get it squared away.
It was running flawlessly when I left, but now I can queue items up from nzbmatrix or newzbin, but they do not start downloading...no 'port in use, try 8081' message...nothing...just stays queued up but doesn't start to download.
I also use Sickbeard, and the item I am trying to download is NOT part of my usual sickbeard setup, meaning im downloading it outside of sickbeard...i dont know if that would make a difference or not.
My usenet provider is paid in full and my account is active.
I can reach my desktop thru MyNZB after i set up port forwarding for my desktop, but I don't have to set up any port forwarding for SAB itself, do I? I dont ever remember having to do that, soooo...
Any ideas?
thanks in advance!

Also no msg in connections ?
Is your usenetserver account maybe limited to an IP ?
Does another nzb downloader work with the same details ?

Re: my SAB stopped downloading...Win7
no msg at all in connections, no red error log with the errors listed underneath it, nothing...
My usenet server acct is not limited to an IP because I have a MacBook Pro that I have been using in the meantime before I set the desktop up...so pretty sure thats a no on the connected to my previous FIOS IP address...
now, what do you mean another NZB downloader? such as GrabIt, perhaps? Dont know, but I can try if thats what you mean...

If you don't mind losing the queue (because you still have the NZBs),
try starting SABnzbd like this once:
"c:\progarm files\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.exe" --clean
This will erase the queue and get rid of any potential administration corruption.

Re: my SAB stopped downloading...Win7
ok so i googled that line, and it goes in the command prompt, but Im having issues with getting the cmd prompt to accept it...im not using quotes or spaces...
my SAB folder is in the default location in C:\programfiles\SABnzbd\SABnzbd.exe...i can browse to it and see it in there no problem...
I just get the 'system cannot find the path specified' message

Re: my SAB stopped downloading...Win7 (SOLVED)
i finally got it to take, and it did indeed start working again immediately after it restarted...i even closed it and reopened it and downloaded another small file and it worked as well then, too...
