The IRC thing is strictly a theme feature. It can be implemented at the theme level, so it is.

I could make a poll out of this but since there are so many options to choose from, I don't
think this would be handy.

so.. I would like to know:

My vote goes to dark with a kind of neon dark blue color or neon toxic green. And maybe some kind of glass effect.

edit: also the whitdrawn Sabnzbd Black theme was made to be implemented without
much work. It even had square corners! Maybe I'll continue with it.. some adjustments.. we'll see.

Worked on this new theme.

At this point I would like to say that the theme is:
- designed for both TV and monitor use (smart use of different fonts at once)
- going to be very user friendly and easy viewable (high contrast)
- gonna get a custom drawed background (if time lets me)
- black


Things I hope to get realised(with some help of Pair of dimes of course I hope  ):
- Fixed width only
- Option to select own background image (nice for TV use I think)
- Easy progress bars (more on that in the first concepts)

Also the first concept images will contain a themed config page.

How well will the structure of the layout fit with the current Plush, and do you intend on keeping the current Plush theme around?

The theme won't fit in the current plush layout, well a bit maybe but I wanted to do some new stuff and I don't think
this will fit. Sorry about that.

How do you mean exactly? I think in the current state there isn't much to compain about the theme itself.
I've heard that people liked the theme but also that the good old Nova template was much better viewable.
So from things I've read and heard I want to create something new that satisfies more users and I don't think
that the current plush layout can deal with the changes I want to make.
However, I surely want to participate on creating improvements like color themes or little design changes.

Hm the thing i dont like about this interface and the ones before this one is the lack of support. Let me explain it a bit. :-)

Since it started with the first nova, each upgrade gave it a new look. Big letters, small letter, colorscheme completly different each time. Blue letter, green letter, orange letters. Move everything to the right then to the left. Icons, no icons, new icons. Al info on main screen, all info hidden away after menus and submenus.
Just if you thought you settled. It changed completly again. And when going to the new scheme the old one is left behind unsupported. And now i see its gone change all again.

Instead of each version being an evolution, its a revolution :-)

You all put a lot of time in it and thats great, but also try to define one great layout that works for 90% of the people and stick to it. The looks are only one thing, its also about usabilty, comfort, stability and a longtime support.

it is great !
I wanted to let you know that the menu is buggy with Safari 3.1.1

I understand my friend. Maybe the best thing is to open a new topic for a different theme.
So requests about plush don't flood in a chat about a new theme. That way we can look through
questions easier.

Hey injectx want to just have tabs for the Queue/History/Config? http://ui.jquery.com/functional_demos/#ui.tabs
If not, maybe tabs can be used for nzb report pages or fit in for something else?

Great to know this, I was experimenting if tab navigation was easier than menu navigation for users.

Can someone zip a working plush theme folder, because mine is kinda screwed up and reinstalling does not work
