CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
Hi everyone, it's my first time here ... I don't know if it's here that I should post requests/help, but here it goes.
I am organizing my library my own way, and the renaming feature is lacking some 'features' ... for example, is it possible to put all movies in a general folder, instead of creating one individual folder per movie ? The other this that I would like to see on the renaming feature, is to be able to put 'CD*' in uppercase when a movie has multiple files. Now you can only do lowercase. If it is already possible to do this, please show me how.
By the way ... great scripts, and the global appearance of the application is really nice !

Great tip!Jim wrote: yes, there is.
i followed this guide from sickbeard.
http://sickbeard.com/install.html
it works for CP as well.
I just installed CouchPotato this way and I'm on version, 90560ad. Very curious if the subtitle feature is going to work and curious about which sources it uses.
edit: just found out thru the log, that subscene is one of the sources, it would be nice if there would be more sources, like ondertitels.com (great resource for Dutch subtitles :-))

I think I got it, well its running.. but it says
Version: UNKNOWN Build. , Update available: update now , Check for new version
I pulled and it still says the same. Also all of my thumbnails are gone.
Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
I fixed the thumbnails by bringing over my Cache folder..
Still at a loss as to why it doesnt show version etc..

@adaxi
Please make a request for the CD thing on github/issues.
Also, moving movies without a folder, won't be supported anytime soon. I think there is an github request for this, if not, you can create one
@BlackBurn
Also OpenSubtitles.org, but I want to make it work properly before I create more sources for it
@phaeton
Thumbnails can be re-cached via the reload button on each movie.

Restarted computer and it still shows:
Update available: update now
Running CP through GIT
Version: UNKNOWN Build. , Update available: update now , Check for new version
I just did a pull and there was activity.
I clicked the update tab.. it didnt seem to do anything, but it stopped responding
I restarted the CouchPotato.py
I'm now at:
Version: 4c3a78a
It has red exclamation marks on all of my files and i have tried to pull, but it says I'm current.

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
the updater doesn't use GIT, so you either use the update inside CP or git, can't use them both.
Will make a minor adjustment not to nag about "update available" when using the latest git version.

It doesn't download that one, that's why it says "Wrong"
Will check it out though.

Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
Any news on the first windows version with Subtitle support?
Perhaps I should just look into downloading via github instead, but haven't gotten the time yet.

The Github tutorial mentioned 1 or 2 pages earlier, takes about 2minutes to set-up and I think it is worth the effort.jonaskp wrote: Any news on the first windows version with Subtitle support?

At this moment I haven't had much luck in finding the right subs.
Re: CouchPotato - Automatic Movie Downloader via NZB & Torrents!
I just set it up via git and it seems to work fine. Wasn't that hard to do, thanks for the guide. It was just a lot of stuff that had to be installed, but when I followed the guide it wasn't hard.
So far the subtitles it has found has worked fine. The funny thing is even though the movie files are 1080p I can see from the log that a lot of the subtitles are titled "DVDrip" but they still work fine.
