Hi, on getting everything set up I used SABnzbd for a small test. Even some time after the task completed (and nothing listed in the console as ongoing), windows task manager reports that SABnzbd-console is using around 40-50% CPU.
This seems weird and unpleasant? Win7 64 bit. Athlon 2.8Ghz Dual core. Is this a known issue? I tried to look around but didn't get far.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Hmm, reloaded and tried again - no problem this time, usage negligible. Maybe it was a strange one off. I will post again if it is actually an issue.

I have the same problems m8, 1 day it works great and then another like today the cpu is maxed and I can't even access the gui. no idea whats causing it

Not a known problem.
We only have a few isolated reports.
