[HELP] Mac script for renaming TV and moving processed files

Post by thatoneuser »

Hi, I just started using sabnzbd and it has been great. However, I am having some problem figuring out how to rename the downloaded TV shows.
I am using 0.5.6 and it has the sorting feature, which I use for weekly TV shows, so the folder will be renamed to "Show Name S01E01" but the actual show file name is still in its raw format. How can I rename the file so it matches the folder "Show Name S01E01" and then how can I move the processed file up one level to /TV/ instead of residing in /TV/Show Name S01E01/ ?

Thanks for the help in advance!

Using the sorting feature you can sort you downloads into user defined folders and renamed.  This link should get you going

I personally like mine sorted into Show Name/Season Number/Show Name - S01E01.mkv which would look like this (%sn/Season %s/%sn - S%0sE%0e.%ext)
