0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Hi,
I thought I would give 0.6.0 Beta a try and have tried to download some items, but every single one comes up with the message "download failed. Is it outside your servers retention?" - or something similar. These are 1 day old items I am trying and they are actually downloading into the temp download folder, but then not being moved to the completed folder.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Not sure if this helps, but looking at the log, it says - "Repair:False, Unpack:False, Delete:True, Script:None" whereas previously it would have said "Repair:True, Unpack:True, Delete:True, Script:None". I have it set to '+delete' as normal.
Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Was this an NZB that was started under 0.5.6 and finished with 0.6.0?
You're right that "Repair:False, Unpack:False, Delete:True" makes no sense.
Please check the Config->Switches page and see if unrar, unzip and repairs are enabled.

Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Hi. I tried it with various newly downloaded nzb's after upgrading. All switches were enabled. I will however install again and maybe see if unchecking then re-chcking the options forces it to work.
Also, for your info, I went back to 0.5.6 and tried the same nzb's and all worked fine.
I'll post again when I have trired re-checking the options.

Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Can you email your sabnzbd.ini file (remove passwords) to bugs at sabnzbd.org?
Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Hi. I decided to remove everything and start again, so deleted the folder containing the ini file and started from scratch. All is now working ok, so maybe it didnt like the original ini file? do you still want me to send the file through? i still have the original that was causing the problem.
now all is ok i am loving the new look and features. Thanks for your hard work!

I seem to be having the same issue. I notice that sabnzbd is creating a folder for each rar archive file in the incomplete folder. I then have to pull the files out of those folders and manually unpack the archive. I believe its only happening when I choose one of my categories. If I select default as the category it seems to work fine.

Copy the sabnzbd.ini file, remove passwords and send it to bugs at sabnzbd.org
There may be some upgrade scenario that doesn't work out properly.
Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
In your INI file, the default category is missing, which means that there's no default for any attribute.
It looks like the default category is only saved to the INI, if you make at least one change to the configuration.
This clearly an upgrade error.
Although I cannot quite explain how it causes your particular problem.

Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
I am having this same issue after the upgrade from 5.6 to 6.0. It looks like I have the default category in my sabnzbd.ini file. When I save changes to the default category I can see that they are written to the ini file. Should the Default category be named as Default or as * like it currently is. When I look in the logs I can see prior to the upgrade everything would be processed as Repair:True, Unpack:true, Delete:True. Now they are being processed as Repair:False, Unpack:False, Delete:True. I never changed those settings and when I look at my settings in both the ini and the web interface they are set to True. It's just ignoring my settings and acting like they are hard coded somewhere.

Stop SABnzbd.
Open the sabnzbd.ini file, it should also contain this section:
Maybe the details are slightly different, but this part is crucial.

Re: 0.6.0 Beta - All Downloads Failing
Checked my sabnzbd.ini file and that part was indeed there. As a test I backed up my current install and then installed Sab again. I started with a fresh sabnzbd.ini file and admin folder. When I added a nzb file and downloaded it, Sab worked as normal. As another test, I used the newly created sabnzbd.ini file with my old cache from my previous install as well as all the files in the admin folder from my previous install. Everything loaded correctly in the web front end but when I tested a download it failed to automatically par, unrar, etc the files like before. I think I should also note, all nzbs that fail are being downloaded into multiple folders in my incomplete folder instead of sab creating just one folder to put all the downloads in like it did for the successful download. Is that normal behavior for nzbs prior to 6.0b2? I never looked in that folder when I had the other version installed.shypike wrote: Stop SABnzbd.

If I had only a few NZBs in my queue, I would just delete my old files and start fresh but since I have over 200 in there I'd rather not have to do that. As another test I'll load up my old queue and try to download something from it I've added recently. This should at least isolate the problem to older cached items, as in my pre 6.0b2 cached nzbs.
