Newzbin RSS feeds don't inherit Newzbin's categories
with 0.5 a download from a Newzbin RSS feed would place it in the proper category (and thus folder). 0.6 does not seem to be doing this.

It still does.
Did you setup the newzbin category names in the newzbin/group column in Config->Categories?
