SABnzbd doesn't want to work

Hi,
I don't know why but the program doesn't like me. When I click on the icon it opens a new browser tab but nothing else happens, just empty new tab with http://localhost:8080/ in the address field.
Please help.

It would help if you told us about operating system, web browser etc.

Please try : http://127.0.0.1:8080/sabnzbd/

Not all windows 7 installs like localhost

Are you sure SABnzbd is running? Check in the task manager.
How do you start it?

It is in my Processes tab. I killed the process and start the program again. Still nothing. I start it from my start menu or desktop.

Windows-Key R
"c:\program files (x86)\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.exe" --server 127.0.0.1:8080

I wonder if something else might be running on - or blocking - port 8080 on your machine [some AV / security program perhaps]?

This one helped to run the program. Thanks, I don't know why it doesn't work from the shortcut. Really strange.

OK, in that case open the shortcut properties and add the --server 127.0.0.1 to the path you see there.

im in the same boat. Windows. i'd tried all of the above and more.
inputting that into RUN simply opens it down below but I cant see it.
