SheevaPlug / GuruPlug

Post by kaigoh »

Gents,

I was wondering if any of you had and experience installing SAB on a plug computer, i.e. GuruPlug or SheevaPlug, and could provide some advice on how simple it is to do and if it is worth it performance wise?

I'm really tempted to pick one up, especially the 1W of power consumption!

Cheers,

Kai.

Did you google for it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SheevaPlug says "The SheevaPlug comes supplied with Ubuntu 9.04 ARM build.", so from that I conclude that has python and the libs needed for SABnzbd

http://www.linux-depot.com/?p=projects&s=sheevaplug is positive about performace with SABnzbd

Yep. Unlike alot of people, for me, asking in forums is always the last ditch effort.

I just thought it might be a reasonable idea to ask in the SABnzbd forums for peoples personal experience as my google searches only came up with side notes.

Cheers though.
