If I add a NZB file that has say 10 individual rar files (eg file.rar / file.r00 /file.r01 / etc) previously when all of the articles associated with an individual rar file had been downloaded, the articles were combined into the rar file and articles deleted. Currently this does not happen, ALL articles for ALL files are downloaded before being processed intop the RAR files.
There must be a setting to sort this but I cannot see which one. Help appreciated.

What makes you think this happens?
Re: Individual RAR files not combined as it goes along...
I am sure that previously my set up combined each RAR file as it went along, where as now the temp folder stores all the articles for all rar files until the whole download is complete and then it creates the RAR files.shypike wrote: What makes you think this happens?

Well, I never see this happen.
Sometimes some articles for later files are fetched,
but that's because SABnzbd tries to occupy all available server connections.
For rather small RAR files this may happen more often.
There will be more parallelism when you set the option
"Only Fetch from the top of the queue" in Config->Switches to "off".

Re: Individual RAR files not combined as it goes along...
The reason whay this was not working for me was that both the temp & cache folders were on the same drive. Once I changed one of them, each RAR was assembled as it was downloaded.johnyb wrote:I am sure that previously my set up combined each RAR file as it went along, where as now the temp folder stores all the articles for all rar files until the whole download is complete and then it creates the RAR files.shypike wrote: What makes you think this happens?

Weird, sounds like a disk priority issue.
I always have cache and temp on the same drive.
Release 0.6.0RC2 keeps a cache in the temp sub-folder, and even there I don't see it.
