Hello everyone!
I had version 0.5.6 installed and everything was perfect! download speeds were constantly going at 2.0mb/s - I had no issues at all. Then I upgraded to 0.6.2 and straight away I noticed my downloads started to fluctuate from 2mb/s down to 20kb/s, sometimes lower...I didn't change any settings between the upgrades...Details of what i'm running are below
Can anyone explain please?

OS: (OSX Snow Leopard)
Install-type: (OSx .app)
Firewall Software: (None)
Are you using IPV6? (don't know?)

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Forgot to mention that I have a 2010 Macbook pro (2.6ghz i7, 8gb ram, 128gb SSD) so its definitely not hogging cpu, or hogging all my ram...help anyone?

Are you using WiFi or a cable?
Is the change consistent over time or just for one (or a few) NZB files?
