How to tell SABnzbd running on a MAC about Networked folders

Post by DoozerUK »

Version: 0.6.1
OS: OSx 10.6.7
Install-type: OSx .app
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Mac OSx Default
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? YES
Network Drive: Yes
Network Drive Type: Synology DS 211J

Hi Guys,

Im having an issue and can only find results for Linux and Windows machines.

I have a synology Diskstation located at: 192.168.0.10 (diskstation.local)
I have SABnzbd+ sat on a Mac Pro at: 192.168.0.09 (macpro.local)

On synology I have the following folders:
/video/tv
/video/movie
/music/

The issue I have is Im not sure what format I need to use in SABnzbd to say to use the networked folders.  I have tried a number of combinations but have not been able to get it to work as expected.

The network drive is fully operational and needs a username+password to access the folder.

If there are any other Mac users out their, please can you share how you have / would resolve this.

Cheers
Ben

Just "mount" the folders to your MAC

And then give sabnzbd+ that path

I have my PCH setup as an nfs and have my downloads directed to that with:

/Volumes/*nameofdrive*/Downloads/Complete

and then on top of that I have movies and tv episodes directed to their own folders:

/Volumes/*nameofdrive*/Movies

/Volumes/*nameofdrive*/TV

My nfs also has a password and stuff but I have it set to automatically mount whenever I login so I don't need to keep putting the username and password in once its mounted.
