finally got sabnzbd / sickbeard / couchpotato all configured.
couchpotato is grabbing nzbs and moving and renaming all fine. the one thing that is really bugging me is the 'Manage' tab, it stays with the text "This is just a temporary page, soon this page will be awesome! For now, only 2 buttons." no matter what. I really dont know what I can do to kick this bit in to life. I have searched on the web for similar issues and the few posts I see don't really get answered.
It tells you on that page. Goto Change Settings>Extras and set Download Trailers to something and enable Subtitles. Then Save to enable the two options on that page.

yep done that, although it doesn't seem to download trailers or subtitles, so thats purely what that page provides? I thought it listed all the films it's successfully added.
I'm trying to have Couch Potato create meta data for me but I need to have my poster in folder.jpg format rather then movie.tbn.
I have tryed messing with the config.ini but i have had no success. Is there a renaming tag to change the file movie.tbn to folder.jpg.
It appears that CP crashes on startup for me. I installed Python (even though I have snow leopard, was that a mistake?) and launched the CP app. The CP app launches, seems to quit, and then a browser is opened to localhost:5000. The following message is displayed:
RTSP/1.0 404 Not Found
Content-Length: 0
Can anyone help me? I've downloaded with git as well with the same results.
Not a Mac user here - but you do have to watch what version Python you are running on all OS's. If you installed the latest python 3.
then that for sure is a problem. Try installing python 2.7 or 2.6 and see if that fixes it.
