Connection retry option

Post by n2k »

Hey,

I see only 1 option that might affect this behavior which is in servers config tab, the option called Timeout.
I've set this to 120seconds but it still seems to retry each ~11 seconds.
But that probably because my error isn't really a timeout, but this one:

2011-06-28 19:00:38,151::ERROR::[downloader:496] Probable account sharing (ssl-eu.astraweb.com:563)
2011-06-28 19:00:38,151::DEBUG::[downloader:480] Server login problem: 502, 502 Login from multiple ips not allowed.

2011-06-28 19:00:49,214::DEBUG::[downloader:480] Server login problem: 502, 502 Login from multiple ips not allowed.

Now I know I'm sharing my account so it'd be nice for sab to not hammer my server each 10 seconds, but make a separate option to control how long you want before sab retries to connect again.

Greets,

If you set the server to "optional", SABnzbd will give up after a short time
and then ignore the server for 10 minutes.

Or rather this doesn't work, because now at every download glitch it'll stop 10 minutes.
Also I've experience weird queue deletion when a download glitch occurred.
With download glitch I mean any missing article, server connection problem, etc

A block doesn't occur on just a glitch.
The server should be down for a substantial time.
