Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download program
Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Maybe an idea for headphones to remember the artists that the user deleted.
As I have some VA albums & HeadPhones keeps adding all artist from this ;-/
Or if some one else has an idea how to avoid this .. let me know

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Split it up, I have a folder of artists and a folder of compilations, the latter I do not scan.
Maybe in the future as HP is growing vastly I'll add them together again.

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I would like to change the following values :
nzb_search_interval = 360
libraryscan_interval = 180
So I tried it to set to once every 24 hours : 1440
But somehow this does not work ... any idea's how to change this so it holds ??

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I am trying to get Headphones up and running on my 0.7.2 Sabanda (revision 5543).
I have installed it with the following commands:
fetch http://github.com/rembo10/headphones/tarball/master
tar -xzf master
rm master
mv rembo10-headphones* Headphones
When I try to run python Headphones.py I do get the following errors:

sqlite3-3.6.19 is installed. What do I miss?

Long time lurker - first time poster
Just started using Headphones and I like what I see so far but I've run into a slight problem that maybe someone can figure out for me. I've started by trying to download albums for two artists, Eminem and Filter but for every NZB it finds for those artists the log reads: Unable to parse the best result NZB. Skipping.
I can understand that there could be a problem with those NZBs but it strikes me as odd that its every one it tries. Here is a sampling of the actual log:
I downloaded Headphones today from Github. After installing it updated itself. Any chance there is a bug in the update?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Hi, I too was getting the "Unable to parse the best result NZB" error, turns out I had the incorrect NZBMatrix API set. The correct one is on the "Index Sites" page in the SabNZBD config.
Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
anyway to keep the group names on the folder? Also anyway to get new releases in the database that arent out yet?
Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Hi, have been using headphones for a couple of days now. And so far so good - but I do notice some bugs around post-processing. Sometimes, if one of the albums can't be processed - it runs into a cosntant loop and the items below are ignored.
I see quite a bit of python related errors and a temporary solution was to remove that album from the folder, restart HP and manually click force post-processing.
The albums that I have ran into this problem are:
Eminem - Relapse [2009]
Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP [2000]
They both look properly named, not sure what the problem is. Will edit the post with the error when I see it again.

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I just starting to use Headphones. Program is great but I have some questions.
I already have a folder with my MP3's. It is set-up like this :
Artist
Year - Album
Track no. - Title.mp3
If the Album has more than one cd there will be 2 folders in the Album folder.
When scanning these folders it does not recognise the albums. Is there a way to let them be recognised by Headphones?
If an album is downloaded by Headphones it looks like this The KLF - The White Room [1991].
When I try to post process it it make an folder with The KLF and a subfolder _97WCX~P. This should be The White Room. Do I have some setting wrong? Or is this normal behaviour?
On the homepage it show that I already have some files downloaded. When I click on the artist the number of files is 0.
When downloading an album it does not go to the right folder. In SABnzbd Category: I have put music like the catergories I have defined in Sabnzbd.
It ends up in the main download folder.
Is nzbmatrix the best nzb archiver to use with Headphones?
Again great program but I have to get used to work with it. Keep up the good work!

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
Is it just me or anyone else getting random artists added to the list?
Currently I have
<209>
08
09
10c
11:11
12 Gauge
12:06
And a couple more random artists just added to my list without me adding it

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I have the same. I think Headphones picks them from other albums.
Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
I think a button is needed to turn this feature off, I don't want my list populated with other artists that I have not heard before.
Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog
A lot of the false positives have been fixed in the develop branch - you can also turn off auto-importing for new artists. It also won't readd an incorrect artist if you manually fix it by deleting that artist and adding the correct one.
Rascalli - try changing the settings while Headphones is shut down to get the new configs to stick. it only reads the config file on startup
Placemaster - what are your file/folder settings? Are you pointing headphones to the correct download_dir? It uses metadata to identify albums, so subfolders don't matter
