I have my complete folder in a networked drive, and occasionally the drive isn't connected to my computer. When this happens, sabnzbd notices that my complete path is incorrect, and remedies this by creating its own folder path in /volumes/.
Is there any way to disable this functionality? Whenever this happens, I have to shutdown sabnzbd, navigate to /volumes/, delete it, and re-attach the networked drive, otherwise the networked drive will name its self Media-1 instead of Media.

Re: [OSX] Preventing SABNZBD from creating folder in /volume
You must be using an old version of SABnzbd, because it doesn't do that any more.

I'm using 0.6.8
Re: [OSX] Preventing SABNZBD from creating folder in /volume
You should see this error message and get a failed job.
How did you fill in the paths?
Code: Select all
PostProcessing was aborted (Cannot create final folder /Volumes/YOUR-VOLUME/your-job-name).
Re: [OSX] Preventing SABNZBD from creating folder in /volume
Ah okay, then the incomplete folder is the one forcing sabnzbd to create a file path for a fake attached drive. My incomplete folder is on an external hard drive, and sometimes I run sabnzbd when it isn't attached.
Re: [OSX] Preventing SABNZBD from creating folder in /volume
We cannot provide a good solution for that.
Just never start SABnzbd when "incomplete" is not mounted.
