Hi, hoping someone can help me since I have no idea what the problem I'm having is.
Basically I cant access Sabnzbd from a connection outside my network on the https:// address.
SABnzbd Host is 0.0.0.0
Https support is enabled, https port is 9090.
The machine running Sabnzbd has a static ip, and port 9090 is forwarded in the router, no firewall on the machine running sabnzbd.
Trying to access sabnzbd from https://79.***.***.249/9090 gives me a can't establish a connection to the server error.
Accessing from https://192.168.0.100/9090 works though.
Any ideas?

Re: HTTPS access
You're supposed to use: https://79.***.***.249:9090/sabnzbd
Re: HTTPS access
Oh, ok. Thank you, but it still doesn't work.shypike wrote:You're supposed to use: https://79.***.***.249:9090/sabnzbd
Re: HTTPS access
Tell your software firewall to allow incoming traffic from "the internet"
and not just from your local network.
and not just from your local network.
Re: HTTPS access
Took the liberty of connecting to this host on port 9090: works fine (password protected and all). That leaves just the typo ("/" instead of ":"), or weirdness when trying to connect to the external 79.* ip address from within the lan.
Make sure you try from the outside, and with the correct syntax. http://canyouseeme.org/ is great for this.

Re: HTTPS access
Oh nice, just tried from an outside connection and it works fine indeed. Just doesn't work from the lan for some reason..
Thanks for the help!
Edit:
Called my isp and they set their built-in router in the modem from them to bridge mode and now I can connect to
https://79.***.***.249:9090/sabnzbd from my network as well
