Is it possible for sabnzbd to some how handle passworded archives containing forward slash?

i.e. foo / zxvasd/asdf

Only when you put in the password file. (Config->Folders).

Sorry to bump this thread, but do you need to do anything special if you have more than one password?

ie. (password.txt)

first_password
second_password

I tried this and it doesn't recognize the 2nd password on my list.

No, except the password cannot contain a leading or trailing space.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think that's the problem because my second_password has a tab in it (i.e. blahblahblah<tab>).

Yes, that would be an issue.
If we start accepting whitespace around passwords,
it would lead to confusion for other people.
There's no ideal solution for this.
