Squeeze w/sabnzbd 0.6.14

Post by Ken S »

Hi there,

I want to install sabnzbd+ 0.6.xx on Debian Squeeze. I just got a fresh install of Squeeze done up and since only 0.5.x is available, there's gonna be some work. I've ready the article mentioned above, but am unsure of which option to choose.

Do I add the Ubuntu Repo, or do I somehow get it from sid/testing?

Thanks much!

Two options, I would say:

1) download the SABnzbd source tar gz from the sabnzbd.org website, unpack it, and run it
2) add the Ubuntu *ppa* for SABnzbd (which has the 0.6.14 version). If that doesn't work, download the .deb manually from the PPA source

Thanks! Is one recommended over the other?
