Downloading to an external USB drive (OS-X)

Post by newuser2012 »

I use OS-X 10.6.8
I tried setting up as the download path
Volumes/"New Volume"/
and then
~/Volumes/"New Volume"/

nothing seems to work as soon I hit save it just keep Volumes/ and when it download everything is downloaded to a new folder "Volumes" in my main hard disk. I did some searching and this problem was reported back in 2009. Here is that thread http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?t=3052
The last reply point to http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/directory-setup That is the page I used in setting, still give the same problem.

I am using it with sickbeared.

Ideally, I would like to store everything in /Volumes/"New Volume"/"TV Programs" so my plex server can access it.

I install sabnzbd 3 days ago, by downloading (did not compile it from source) and then install sickbeared. Everything works, but that.

You did not try the obvious:
/Volumes/New Volume
No quotes needed.

Thanks, I figured that out soon after I posted. However, I did it long way, just edited the.ini file with a text editor.
