SABnzbd likes to randomly stop downloading

Post by HeyBoff »

Platform: OSX
ISP: Time Warner/Road Runner
Provider: SuperNews

Since I've moved and switched to Road Runner, sabnzbd likes to download a file for a while then randomly turn "off" - my download speed suddenly goes to 0 KB/s. Most of the time, restarting sabnzbd will start my download again. I've tried changing my server settings to have SSL both on and off but it didn't have an effect.

Any ideas?

Do you see any errors or warnings on the Status page?

Stop SABnzbd and run it from a Terminal windows (Apps->Utilities).
Then type:
/Applications/SABnzbd.app/Content/MacOS/SABnzbd --console -l2
press Enter.
This will run SABnzbd and show a log of debug info, keep the window open.
When downloading stops, check if you see any activity in the terminal window.
