INFO::[urlgrabber:205] Unknown error fetching NZB

Post by drose25 »

Hi Everyone,

I have been using SABnzbd successfully for about a year now. Today I wiped my machine to install XBMCbuntu. I then installed SABnzbd 0.7.0 beta and re-configured it. For some reason, however, it cannot seem to download any nzb files that Sickbeard passes to it, nor can I add an nzb manually from either an url or a file. Checking the log, I'm getting this error:

INFO::[urlgrabber:205] Unknown error fetching NZB

I've checked the url to make sure the index server wasn't being whacky, but when I paste the url in my PC browser, it downloads just fine. I've checked to make sure openssl and curl are installed, but otherwise I'm at a loss as to what to check next.

I'd appreciate any suggestions if anyone has one.

Let me get this straight: if you download a .NZB from binsearch and add to SAB's webinterface, you get that error? Or does it only happens when you feed SAB with an URL?

Problem Solved: Inherent Stupidity. The incomplete and completed directories for my SABnzbd install are both located on mounted SMB shares. Unfortunately, when I recreated them today after installing XBMCbuntu, I forgot to set the proper permissions... Fixed that and now things seem to be working great. Sorry for the trouble!
