Re: Sign up to become an Official SABnzbd Tester
I'm interested. I'm a frequent reader of the forums, could be more active though. At the time I'm running VMware ESX Server with quite a mix of systems (Debian, FreeBSD, W2003, W2008). My client machine is a Mac. I also have a 100mbit connection, if relevant.
Currently of paternal leave, so I got all the time in the world ;-)
Hope to be hearing from you..

(Does the timing on this post automatically disqualify me from participating? )
I would like to participate as a Tester. I'm actually running a Dev build right now. (Not an SVN build, a build built to test a potential hostname resolution workaround)

Re: Sign up to become an Official SABnzbd Tester
You are welcome, we are currently testing 0.4.3.onebinary wrote: (Does the timing on this post automatically disqualify me from participating? )
This private test (for which we invite the people who respond here) precedes
a public test to be announced later on the Beta forum.
I'll add you to the Release Test section.

The new API will be part of 0.5.0 and that will take quite a while before reaching pre-release status.pieteckhart wrote: i'm looking forward to the new API so i would love to test it when it's "done".
Currently we're focussing on the 0.4.5 maintenance release.
Still interested to become a release tester?
This is primarily to do sanity checks on Beta, RC and Final releases (bianries).
If you want access to the latest sources you'd better use the Subversion connection on assembla.com.
Re: Sign up to become an Official SABnzbd Tester
In life I'm an IT manager so I know how to find and explain bugs, I have idea to make the project better. I have one installation running as a system service on my Windows XP Pro machine at home wich is running 24/7 I have almost 20 RSS rules to download my TV show content and I have a newzbin account that I use sometimes when I'm looking for something specific.
I connect from work to my web GUI through a VPN I have made a Delphi/Pascal Console program to delete unwanted files, copy to the right directory and rename the TV Show file o the job name; I love when there are capitals letters in the file name, it probably could be done in dos batch file, but it was easier for me to do it in Delphi/Pascal as I use that everyday.

MageMinds:
Dangerous hobby. This is how I got involved in SABnzbd.
I wrote my own fancy postprocessor too and ended up implementing all of it in SABnzbd itself.
I have added you to the Release Testers section.
