Empty NZB warning on a single particular NZB

Firewall Software: Windows 7 built in

Is the issue reproducible? yes

So - this is a strange one - there's this particular NZB which always results in an empty NZB warning.... I've managed to download this via Binreader so the NZB should be ok!

This is the first and only NZB which has this issues - anything else I try works!

It's probably an NZB with XML format errors, SABnzbd doesn't accept those.

I appreciate it's probably an issue with the NZB ... I just wanted to report it since I managed to download it fine with another client.... and i really really like sabnzbd.

Weird, I can read it in without any problem.
Restart SABnzbd and try again.

This problem has been ongoing for a couple of days ... in that time i've restarted not only sab, but also the pc .... just about the only thing i didn't do was re-install (was going to wait for an update) .... but since it's the only file which hasn't worked and I managed download it with another client I was pretty sure it's a bug on the program.

First try was using SABconnect++ extension on chrome directly from nzbmatrix - this is how I always download.

The subsequent 99999 tries were all done using the Add-NZB feature and supplying that NZB file.

nzbmatrix is known not to deliver some NZB files through its API (resulting in an empty or effectively empty file).
Assuming you did try to read in the same file that you sent me,
I have no explanation because I can read it in without problems.

Is there anything else in the queue?
Do you have duplicate checking on in Config->Switches?

It is the same file .... then it must be a quirk of my installation ... is it worth install the same version over mine? Should not loose any settings that way.

Queue is empty ... duplicates is off.

Maybe the best course is to start it once like this:
First stop SABnzbd and then
Windows-Key+R and type this literally (including quotes):
"c:\program files (x86)\sabnzbd\sabnzbd.exe" --clean
Enter
This will clean up internal administration.
Re-installing is always safe, but probably will not help.

Tried what you suggested - no difference.

Since it's working for you on the same version it has to be my install ... I'll try a re-installation and we'll see!

For what its worth - I am having the exact same problem.
It only occurs on shows sent from Sickbeard - everything from Couchpotato downloads ok, and manual dl's are also ok.
I then click retry from the SABnzbd queue & the TV episodes download fine.
