I recently started using SABnzbd and it's been working great so far, but whenever I try to access it over the network from my laptop it takes 3-4 seconds to load the interface, and a similar time whenever I click on any option, such as status, config etc. This doesn't happen when I access it from the PC where SABnzbd is running.
I'm using Firefox on both computers, but I have tried IE, Chrome and Opera with the same results.
Version: 0.7.4 Final
OS: Win7 x64 (Both computers)
Install-type: Windows zip
Skin (if applicable): Plush
Firewall Software: Win7 built-in firewall
Are you using IPV6? No(?)
Is the issue reproducible?

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Windows' IPv6 throwing a fit.
What kind of addresses do you use between systems?
Have you tried numerical IP addresses (like 192.168.1.4)?

192.168.0.2:8080 - That's what I use from both machines.
I just tried it from my Android smartphone and it worked fine with no delay.
Would the no_ipv6 special setting help? I can't find it in the wiki so not sure what it does.

That option won't help.
If using plain IPv4 addresses don't help, then I don't know.
For SABnzbd it's all the same.
One thing you might want to test is what the result is when
you use the 198.168.0.2 address on the system that SABnzbd runs on.
I mean, instead of using localhost there, try 192.168.0.2.

Since I installed it, I've always used the IP address (198.168.0.2) on the system SABnzbd is running.
I also just tried the latest beta and 0.7.5 but still had the same problem.

Sorry, but I have no reason to assume that SABnzbd is causing the issue.
It doesn't care where the traffic comes from.
Your Android phone seems to confirm this, it has no issues.
I'm as puzzled as you are.
You might try another program with a web interface, like the Transmission torrent client.

OK, so I tried it with qbitorrent and found it was also slow loading over the network but not on localhost.
Clearly, something is wrong with Windows so I guess I'll just have to live with it, but thanks for your help anyway.
