I have set up Couch Potato and Sabnzbd to work on my Synology NAS. I have found that when I put a movie in to snatch that I am getting multiple versions of certain movies (including multiple versions of 720p for example). I would like to pull the highest quality of a movie available. Any ideas on how to eliminate the duplication I am getting?
I have set CouchPotato up under the Quality Profiles with Best set up to snatch
720p
1080p
BR-Rip
DVD-Rip
and under the Profile Defaults I have left the following checked (the defaults):
Best
HD
BR-Disk
SD
1080P
720P
BR-Rip
DVD-R
DVD-Rip
Screener
R5
TeleCine
TeleSync
Cam

Re: Multiple Versions of Movies from CouchPotato
Look in CouchPotato forums.. This is a known issue and is not a SABnzbd issue.
Reasons for multiple downloads are:
1: on snatching the release and sending to SABnzbd, cps does not receive confirmation from SABnzbd in time (a timeout error occurs) so it assumes no download happened and moves on to the next best release. This can be an issue on small arm processors when downloading many large movies at once.
2: you have used the nzb api key from SABnzbd and not the "general" api key... This doesn't allow polling of SABnzbd for the status of the downloading movie... Cps therefore assumes a failed download and snatches the next best... Change the api key as entered in CPS settings, downloaders, SABnzbd.
3: comms are failing between SABnzbd and CPS with the download status check... Similar to above. This has been fixed in the latest release of CPS.
If none of these suggestions work, in CPS, settings, renamer, turn off the "next on_failed" option (advanced setting)
