Can you add http://nzb4u.me/ to http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources ? It's a free usenet search engine (no registration).

Added.
Do you have any plans for an RSS feed or an API?
Your categories and tags are nice, but in no way accessible to SABnzbd.

Wow, what a beautiful site. A few remarks:nzbking wrote:Can you add http://nzb4u.me/ to http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/nzb-sources ? It's a free usenet search engine (no registration).
- It doesn't show the age of a post.
- A bit too little results, for example for "koefnoen"
- I get a very large, very NSFW, very XXX-rated commercial ("Deskbabes").

Hi, could you add some item in the help/wiki on how users need to "update" when a newer version has come out ?
Do we need to uninstall first, copy over, or do something else ?

There's isn't much to say about it.
OSX and Linux packages will simply replace the old by the new versions (handled by the operating system).
On Windows you can install a new version over an old one and the installer will know what to do.

Re: wiki.sabnzbd.org - The SABnzbd Manual - Suggestions & Di
Does anyone know what page in the manual the different Queue Mode options are explained (e.g. blank, R, U, D)?
http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-servers-v2
Is anyone able to clarify whether a server could have Primary=no, Backup=yes and Optional=yes?
Footnote 2 - Written to set Backup=no and Optional=yes does that mean the server will always be used - both the primary and optional server will be used together?
Would it make more sense to have a drop list:
Server Type: Primary, Backup, Optional instead of three tick boxes?
Thanks

Which version are you using? You're probably looking at the wrong page.sab12397 wrote:Does anyone know what page in the manual the different Queue Mode options are explained (e.g. blank, R, U, D)?

Any 0.7.x version uses: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-servers-0-7
There's no "primary" setting. A server is either primary (not backup) or backup.
The queue options are explained here: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/job-options

On the page: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/sabnzbd-as-a-windows-service, I would like to have seen an explanation of the <path> parameter in the install and update command lines. It took me a while to realize what it signified, and that it cannot be the same as the program folder.
Re: wiki.sabnzbd.org - The SABnzbd Manual - Suggestions & Di
A bit of searching in the Wiki would have helped, but I just added reference to the options description.

That's because nobody should need those,
except when we need users to change them for troubleshooting.

Re: wiki.sabnzbd.org - The SABnzbd Manual - Suggestions & Di
This setting is not very clear to me "Fail on yenc crc Errors"
This is in the wiki:
Only important when using fill servers. When a primary server delivers a message with errors you can ignore the message and rely on PAR2 correction. You can also choose to try to download the message from a fill server, but this takes more time and bandwidth.
http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/configure-switches
Can something like this be added?
setting checked = try getting article from another server
unchecked = accept article with yenc crc error
Thx to jcfp for explaining this to me on irc :-)
