Yes language changes are made. The easiest way to fix it is just to re-add the author.

Post processing is failing for one of my authors. The problem is that the destination folder it creates is ../Cara Summers/TGQGXL~L even though according to the log it looks like it would be called ../Cara Summers/The P. I..

Will re-adding the author get rid of my download history? I don't want to re-download all the books for all the authors.

You can manually mark books as 'have' for the ones you already downloaded, but yes it will reset the current stored info.

ok. I removed and re-added an author. It has downloaded some books but the download bar on the author page says 33/19. The author only has 19 books on the author page. What does 33 mean?

It was a bug to do with counting an authors books. I have just uploaded a new version which should fix that issue. Just mark a single book as wanted and it should recount the number of books downloaded.

From now on an authors books will be displayed as soon as the information is loaded (rather than all at once at the end). In addition I have added some basic notification support, changed the language buttons to a drop down list and a series of other small changes.

I have a lot of authors to delete and re-add due to the language change. Is there a way to add authors in bulk?

Not at the moment no, that being said you do not have to wait for an author to finish loading books before you add another. Keep in mind that while this is still in alpha release things will break as new features are added and tested.

I started getting errors on newznab. In previous builds I believe it was working

WARNING Error fetching data from https://nzb.su/: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden

That sounds like an access/authentication issue. Absolutely nothing has changed in relation to searching and downloading nzb files

I think I might have hit a api limit

I'd say that's likely

I have followed your recommendation to mark a book as wanted to fix the download count and that works. I assume this is a short term solution. When I add a new author and download their books the downnload count shows incorrectly again, so I then I mark a book as wanted and then it cleans up the count. This has to be done on each author.

What is the difference between the following 2 download status? Snatched and Open
LibrarianMike

Re: LazyLibrarian: Automate your ebook/author collection

Post by LibrarianMike »

Snatched = downloaded/sent the Nzb to sab but not yet post processed. Have = a book that you have (perhaps a physical copy). Open = a book that you have downloaded and post processed, when clicked (it's a hyperlink) it will download a copy of the book to your device (so for devices like the iPad you can open books without syncing through iTunes).
