Hi,

NZB Finder is aiming to provide a home for a select few people who need a feature rich but fast indexer for HD content, music, XXX and books. We only index the HD groups for TV Series, Movies, Blu-Rays, Anime and also a lot of audio and e-book/audiobook/comic groups. This is perfect if you need an API which Sonarr, Couchpotato, Sickbeard and Headphones can speak to to retrieve NZB's for automatic downloading.

The first 50 users get a free upgrade to a donator account. After that I'm requesting a €10 minimum fee to get the server costs covered. The server should be powerful enough for a few thousand users but I want to keep it low profile so be quick
Free accounts are long gone. Feel free to signup and look around, if you like the service you can pay at any time. We aim to keep registrations open for as long as possbile but get in while you can.

NZB Finder has been running without any major problems for the past 2,5 years and we aim to continue doing so for a long time. We currently have a backfill of about 2200 days and we're actively indexing Usenet every 60 seconds.

Looks promising. I like the fact that you're only indexing HD content.

Trying to filter out as much SD garbage as possible :-) Currently adding 25000 movie NZB's. This will probably take all night so the site might be a tad slow. We will be doing the same tomorrow but with TV Shows and Documentaries. Anime will follow right after. Normal updating continues as well.

I kind of disabled the manual browsing because most people use this for the API anyway. You can still use the search function when logged in to look for specific things.

But if there's a demand for it I can enable it for donator accounts I guess.

So you mention you'll keep membership limited in order to keep the system low-key, is this still going to be the case? With all the closures of late I was wondering if this is the way to go, but I wonder how you can do this if the userbase only pays a one off fee.... perhaps if it was considered more of a group cooperative.... each member pays $10 per year or whatever thus you can keep membership limited and continue to cover the costs of the server plus a lil treat for yourself for your efforts? :-)

Well that is the plan yes. We'll see how it goes, for now a one time fee will hopefully cover the costs for a full year. Might send out an e-mail at that time requesting for voluntary donations for example.

Bento there is one factor that is very important nowadays it’s the indexing speed. You have to be very fast to make this a great success.

Indexing will happen every 10 minutes. It just might be somewhat slower for the next week due to heavy backfilling. I am trying to go as fast as possible.
