alternative scripts to newznab

anyone know of alternative scripts to newznab? im only interested in a few tv shows, and rather than have a full blown script like newznab running indexing every item, i rather it just search for key ones.

If you're only interested in a few tv shows, why not use a RSS feed from binsearch or nzbindex.com ?

try sickbeard, it only does tv and can call up different servers to fulfill your requests.
