Login window reappears in accordance with refresh rate

I opened sabnzbd.ini to confirm my password and username, so there's no way I'm inputting the wrong info. This has been happening only in the last few days, and is frankly more irritating than anything else, as I can access the UI. I'm running 0.7.9 on Windows 7 64bit via Chrome. I'm not interested in disabling password/username, since it offers an extra layer of security when I'm in the mood to upload NZBs remotely via my Android device (I don't consider that a solution in any case). Any help appreciated.

Using version 0.7.9 and listening on 0.0.0.0 which is what I have used for last couple of years

I think I resolved the problem. While inspecting settings, I noticed that the password field for the Sabconnect++ Chrome Extension was inexplicably blank. After filling that field with the correct datum, the login window no longer pops up intermittently when navigating Sabnzbd proper.
