Re: NZB Finder - Usenet Indexer for Couchpotato/Sickbeard et

I need examples, please e-mail them to me.

The problem with incorrect releases should be minimized for new releases as we are running on new software as of yesterday. The problem with incorrect names is the IMDB lookups. Couchpotato searches NZB Finder for a certain IMDB ID, sometimes our indexer gets confused and pulls the wrong IMDB ID.

I know how to fix this it will just take some time. I have to lock the website so no one can use it, then wipe all IMDB ID's from NZB Finder (thus essentially making the site unusable for a short while) and re-run every release we have against IMDB. This will take time (might be a full day) so I will announce it first. I'll do this probably AFTER next week as I'm away from home next week.

Because we updates yesterday we should be adding more releases already due to updated regexes. Confusing filenames but with correct NFO's should be indexed correctly now as well as we are now also scanning NFO's for release names before running them against IMDB or TV Rage. Things will only get better from here on forward :-)

I recieved many questions about this lately so I will also make this clear here:

Our RSS feeds are also compatible with the now very popular NZBVortex. Especially handy when using the "Add to Cart" feature of NZB Finder.

Another notable point is that we might get added as one of the default Search Providers in the new version of Couchpotato :)

We'll see, DMCA can't harm us and this link could be only temporary. Might be good to keep the server running as this new server is a tad more expensive. If there's no increase in traffic we can quickly be removed from CP to lay low again.

Thanks for the compliment :-)

We're also working on a Up and Down vote system to rate releases. The votes will also be available through the API so if I can get the Couchpotato and Sickbeard developers to add support for this then CP and SB will be able to download the highest rated release for you resulting in better quality and less false downloads. 8)

Headphones and LazyLibrarian could also use the voting system of course but currently the main focus is on CP and SB.

Alright PayPal has limited our account for unknown reasons. I just called them and the person from their customer service was unable to provide me with an answer. I will call them again tomorrow and get deeper into the issue. For now registrations are still open and you can still pay through Bitcoin.

I will try to get our PayPal account back in working order asap and provide some other payment options in the mean time.

Another Paypal horror story in the making? Curious about their motivation. Keep us posted about this.

Here you find an anti Paypal website. http://www.paypalwarning.com/no-reason-for-block/

You are definitely not the only one encountering the arrogant Paypal guys. Bento, perhaps this is a good alternative to Paypal: https://www.merchantinc.com/ .

Keep up the good work. NZBfinder is the solution for me.

It looks like there's a space between www.nzbfinder.ws and /api

Remove that space or just copy and paste this in: https://www.nzbfinder.ws

I know that Sickbeard sometimes can't properly handle URL changes so it might be best to just hit Delete and re-enter all the info.

PayPal can't make up their mind because those bastards blocked us again... Do you guys know any other options? I will have to start accepting CreditCards only since PayPal is no option anymore.

I assume they blocked you because of their terms in which you require admission in advance when "providing file sharing services or access to newsgroups".

This is to my opinion a sort of censure. Because of this boycot those guys. Have a look at paymill or saasy to accept creditcards payments. Hopefully Bitcoin will be a real alternative to paypal in the near future.

Lets start using the alternatives!!
